When I got to the point in my pregnancy that I couldn't run anymore, I started doing a lot more swimming. People at the Y would tell me that I was going to have a little water baby. If Emma' s baths are any indication, she really is going to love the water. When we started giving her baths she would just totally relax and lay in there. Now she gets excited and is constantly pumping her legs back and forth!Taking it easy in her first bath

In March, our friends Justin & Katy hosted a People of Walmart Casino Night at their home. It was the perfect way for me to spend my first evening out since having Emma. We were able to have a fun, relaxed night with old friends and even though I didn't do any gambling, I did win a round of bingo!

Gamma Phi Beta Easter Egg Hunt

My sorority has a great tradition of holding an alumnae Easter egg hunt every year. The house has a huge beautiful front lawn so it is perfect for hiding eggs. I have taken Marlie once or twice, but this year it was fun to take both of my legacies. There were games with prizes for the kids to do before the hunt. Marlie kept trying to help this little girl with a game.

My sister lived in the sorority house this past year so Marlie felt at home there from visiting Avery. Hence, why she's already taken her shoes off!

The State Botanical Garden of Georgia

Marlie's class went on a field trip to the botanical garden here in Athens. They did a nature scavenger hunt throughout the garden and ended the trip with a snack. Their favorite thing was definitely just running around everywhere and climbing on whatever they could.

We were able to enjoy a pretty relaxed Easter this year - as much as 2 small children will allow! We attended church and then ate with my parents in the afternoon.
One of my parents' rose bushes was in full bloom so I couldn't resist getting a picture of one of the flowers.
